QuickWhale Music Transfer FAQ
Questions and answers of QuickWhale Transfer, copy songs, playlists, books, movies, ringtones and more from any iPod, iPhone, iPad back to your computer.
QuickWhale Music Transfer is a handy tool which helps you to transfer music, videos, books and playlists from iPod to PC, iPhone to iTunes library. It is very powerful and easy to use. You can use this tool to download music and playlists from any iPod, iPhone back to computer directly, you can restore your media library from your iPod, iPhone and iPad to iTunes library with this tool.
Please disconnect your iPod from computer if you have it connected. Then, run the program, connect the iPod through USB cable, the QuickWhale Transfer should detect your device and read the media library automatically.
Now you can click the "Transfer" button to copy songs and other selected media to your iTunes library or computer.

Please follow the suggestion below to fix this issue easily:
First, you need to install the iTunes. iTunes provides drivers to allow the iPod, iPhone or iPad to be regonized by the operation system. Mac computer has iTunes pre-installed. For PC with Windows system, you need to download and install the iTunes manually, you can download the iTunes from Apple's website.
Second, please try to disconnect the device from computer by pull out USB cable, and then reconnect the USB cable.

QuickWhale Transfer supports playlists too. By default, all the playlists will be transferred to the iTunes library automatically. However, you need to ensure to selected all the tracks (checked their checkboxes in the program) inside those playlists, otherwise, the playlists transferred to the iTunes may be empty or incomplete.
You don't need to worry about the duplicated songs, movies or playlists. The program is smart enough to find out the song files or playlists which already exist in your iTunes library or the output folder you selected. All the duplicated tracks will be skipped automatically.
If you want to transfer the songs again, you don't need to deselected those songs which have been transferred before, just check them all as default, and let the program to detect and skip the transferred music files for you.
This also works for playlists in your iTunes library, if playlists with same name already in your iTunes, the program will try to add missing songs to that playlist directly.
QuickWhale Transfer provides a manual transfer method. Instead of iTunes library, it allows you to export music, video files to a selected folder. You can choose a folder in your external disk to save the track files.
Sometimes, the program may fail to copy some songs if there are bad sectors in your iPod disk, or lost connection with your iPod, iPhone. In that case, please do the transfer again. As you may already know, the program will handle the possible duplication automatilly, so you only need to click the Transfer button to start again, only tracks that have not been transferred will be copied this time.

In order to fix the problem quickly, please send us the detail log of failed transfer. To get that log, please click the "More" button, and select the "Error log" from the dropdown menu.
